Video surveillance

To ensure security in our launderette and to protect our property, we use video surveillance. Below we inform you about the details of data processing:

2. purpose and legal basis of video surveillance

Video surveillance is used for the following purposes:

  • Exercise of domiciliary rights.

  • Protection of property and prevention of vandalism.

  • Prevention and investigation of criminal offenses (e.g. theft, damage to property).

  • Safety of customers during their stay.

Legal basis: The processing is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our interests lie in safeguarding operations and preserving evidence in the event of incidents.

3. storage duration

The image data is stored for a period of 7 days (rolling recording). If no incident requiring evaluation occurs within this period, the data is automatically overwritten. In the event of an incident (e.g. damage to property), the data is stored for the duration of the preservation of evidence and legal prosecution.

4. recipient of the data

The data will only be passed on if this is necessary to investigate criminal offenses (e.g. to the police or public prosecutor's office) or to protect legal interests (e.g. lawyers). Data is not transferred to third countries.

5. your rights as a data subject

You have the following rights vis-à-vis us with regard to your personal data:

  • Right to information (Art. 15 GDPR)

  • Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)

  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)

  • Right of objection: You have the right to object to the processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.

You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data by us.
