Clean thing! To make your laundry day with us as relaxed and smooth as possible, we have compiled the most important rules and tips in our House rules for the launderette summarized.
Whether you are a professional washer or using our XXL machines for the first time - mutual consideration and careful handling of the technology ensure that every customer receives a perfect result. Please take a moment to read our House rules in the launderette carefully. This is how we guarantee maximum hygiene and functionality for all our visitors in Stuttgart.
Entering our Laundromats as well as the use of the appliances, washing powder and fabric softener is at your own risk and subject to the following general terms and conditions:
1. The customer is obliged to inspect the appliances for external and internal damage and residues before use. As well as to set the washing and drying program conscientiously.
2. The customer is obliged to remain in the vicinity of the appliance for the entire duration of machine operation. If an appliance is damaged or if problems occur, the customer service telephone number must be called immediately.
3. The machines may not be used for dyeing. Any damage resulting from non-compliance will be charged to the customer.
4. The customer is obliged to observe the information on the laundry care labels and to select the programs accordingly. The launderette accepts no liability for damage caused by incorrect washing procedures.
5. The washing and drying of heavily soiled laundry, animal blankets, oil or grease-smeared laundry is prohibited. Any damage resulting from non-compliance will be charged to the customer.
6. The appliances may only be loosely loaded. The launderette accepts no liability for damage to the laundry caused by overloading.
7. Smoking is prohibited.
8. Bringing and consuming intoxicants is prohibited.
9. Entering the launderette under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants is prohibited.
10. The launderette accepts no liability for laundry that is left lying around, discolored, stolen, soiled, shrunk or damaged in any other way.
11. Should the customer make a claim for damages, he/she shall return the laundry to the laundromat operator in its original condition immediately and on the same day. Any claim for compensation can only be made on presentation of the original purchase invoice. The amount will be reduced accordingly for wear and tear. By handing over the goods, the customer agrees to the laundry being examined by an independent expert. If the launderette operator is not at fault, the customer shall bear the costs incurred for this. The maximum compensation is limited to 100.00 euros.
12. Due to the heavy visitor traffic, customers are obliged to take care of moisture and other hazards in the laundromat themselves. These must either be eliminated by the customer (polluter pays principle) or reported to customer service.
13. The customer is obliged to keep the launderette clean and dry. The customer is liable for cleaning work following willful soiling.
14. Children and adolescents are only permitted to visit if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
15. Children and young people are not permitted to use the equipment.
16. Climbing on the equipment is prohibited.
17. The use of damaged and/or locked devices is prohibited.
18. Our customers are permitted to stay in the launderette area for the duration of the appliances used.
19. The customer reports to Customer Service if a stranger is disturbing or bothering customers.
20. The launderette is under video surveillance. There is no entitlement to the release of images. The recordings are continuously deleted after 7 days. The expenses incurred by the laundromat operator must be reimbursed upon release.
21. The customer agrees to video recordings and their temporary storage.
22. Photographs, videos, sound recordings, events and other recordings or other use of the laundromat rooms require the written, personal permission of the laundromat operator.
23. The place of jurisdiction is Stuttgart.
24. The complete and current version of the General Terms and Conditions, which can be viewed at the operator (notice board or at https://www.washpoint-stuttgart.de/), always apply.
25. Only the prices and information displayed in the launderette are valid. All information in other media is non-binding. Errors excepted.
26. If the customer does not remove his laundry immediately at the end of the program, the next customer or the laundromat operator is entitled to remove the laundry and place it clean in a laundry basket on the machine in question.
27. Vinegar cleaners must not be poured into the washing machine due to possible damage to the seals. Any damage resulting from non-compliance will be charged to the customer.
28. The door opener is time-controlled. The lock is automatically activated in the evening and automatically deactivated in the morning. It is possible to leave the launderette despite it being locked as only opening from the outside is prevented.
29. A product must be selected at the central control after inserting money (compulsory purchase). The pay station cannot be used as a change machine.
