🧺 Laundromat Basics
How does a self-service laundromat work?
In a self-service laundromat, you do everything yourself – quickly and easily. There is no staff on site, but if you have any questions or problems, you can reach us by phone at any time. The machines are operated simply via a modern touchscreen payment kiosk. All steps are clearly explained on-site.
How does washing and drying work at the laundromat?
Put your laundry into the machine, select the wash program on the payment kiosk, pay – and you’re done. After that, you can dry your laundry in the dryer. All machines are easy to use. You can find a step-by-step guide here.
How hygienic is a laundromat?
Very hygienic – unlike household washing machines, which are often used only once or twice a week, our machines run multiple times a day. The frequent use, high wash temperatures, and constant water changes make it difficult for germs or bacteria to settle.
Additionally, all machines and contact surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected daily. For our customers, a sink with soap and disinfectant is also available — for extra cleanliness and safety during your visit.
Can I leave the laundromat while my laundry is washing?
Yes, you can leave the laundromat without any problem while your laundry is washing. The washing machines cannot be opened during operation, so your laundry is safe.
Nearby, you’ll find the “Das Gerber” shopping center, as well as numerous cafés, restaurants, supermarkets, and an organic store – perfect for making good use of your waiting time.
We kindly ask you to return on time at the end of the wash cycle so the machines can be available for other customers. Thank you very much for your understanding!

What are your opening hours?
Monday to Saturday from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
Are you also open on Sundays and public holidays?
No, we are closed on Sundays and public holidays - in accordance with the legal regulations in Baden-Württemberg.
Where can I find your laundromat?
Our laundromat, WashPoint, is located in the heart of Stuttgart, right next to the “Das Gerber” shopping center and parallel to Paulinenbrücke.

Are there parking spaces nearby?
Yes, there are parking spaces right next to the church, parallel to the restaurants. You can also conveniently park in the parking garage of the Gerber shopping center.
🌀 Laundry & Drying
How long does a wash cycle take at the self-service laundromat?
Since we use professional machines, washing is lightning fast. A wash cycle usually takes about 35 minutes, depending on the program. Drying typically takes around 30 to 40 minutes.
Can I also use dryers at the laundromat?
es, we have several large-capacity dryers with a 20 kg capacity available for you to use. You can dry your laundry at 40, 60, or 80 degrees – fast and wrinkle-free.
What is the capacity of your washing machines?
We have 8 standard washing machines, each with a capacity of 7 kg, and an additional large XXL washing machine with an 18 kg capacity. For drying, large-capacity dryers with a 20 kg capacity are available.
Can I wash large items like comforters at your laundromat?
Yes, we have an XXL washing machine with an 18 kg capacity, as well as large-capacity dryers that hold up to 20 kg.
Can I wash pet blankets (dogs, cats, etc.) at your laundromat?
For hygiene reasons, washing pet blankets is not permitted in our laundromat.

How much does washing and drying cost at your laundromat?
7 kg machine: 5 €
18 kg machine: 13 €
20kg Dryer: €1.50 for every 10 minutes

Do you accept card payments?
Currently, card payments are not yet available. However, we are working on offering this payment option soon.
How can I pay at the laundromat?
You can pay with cash (coins and bills) at the machine.
🛠️ What We Offer
Am I allowed to bring my own detergent?
Yes, you are welcome to use your own detergent. Alternatively, we also offer detergent and fabric softener for purchase on-site.
Is there Wi-Fi in the laundromat?
Yes, we offer free Wi-Fi in our laundromat – perfect for browsing, working, or just relaxing while your laundry runs.
