Terms and Conditions
1. Entering our laundromat and using the machines, detergent, and fabric softener is done at your own risk and subject to the following terms and conditions:
2. The customer is obligated to inspect the machines for any external and internal damage or residues before use, and to carefully set the washing or drying program.
3. The customer is required to stay near the machine for the entire duration of its operation. If a machine is damaged or any issues arise, the customer must immediately call the customer service phone number posted on-site.
4. The machines must not be used for dyeing. Any damage resulting from misuse will be charged to the customer.
5. The customer is required to follow the instructions on the care labels of the laundry and select the appropriate programs. The laundromat is not liable for any damage caused by incorrect washing procedures.
6. Washing and drying heavily soiled laundry, pet blankets, or laundry stained with oil or grease is prohibited. Any damage resulting from misuse will be charged to the customer.
7. The machines may only be loaded loosely. The laundromat is not liable for any damage to the laundry caused by overloading.
8. Smoking is prohibited.
9. Bringing and consuming intoxicants is prohibited.
10. Entering the laundromat under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants is prohibited.
11. The laundromat is not liable for laundry that is left behind, discolored, stolen, soiled, shrunk, or damaged in any other way.
12. If the customer makes a claim for compensation, they must immediately hand over the laundry in its original condition on the same day to the laundromat operator. Any potential compensation can only be provided upon submission of the original purchase receipt. The amount will be reduced according to the wear and tear. By handing over the laundry, the customer agrees that the laundry may be inspected by an independent expert. If the laundromat operator is not at fault, the customer will bear the associated costs. The maximum compensation is limited to €100.00.
13. Due to the high visitor traffic, the customer is responsible for monitoring moisture and other hazards in the laundromat. These must either be removed by the customer (principle of accountability) or reported to customer service.
14. The customer is required to keep the laundromat clean and dry. The customer is liable for cleaning costs if the facility is deliberately soiled.
15. The presence of children and adolescents is only allowed when accompanied by a legal guardian.
16. The use of the machines is generally prohibited for children and adolescents.
17. Climbing on the machines is prohibited.
18. Using damaged and/or locked machines is prohibited.
19. Customers are allowed to stay in the laundromat area during the operating time of the machines they are using.
20. The customer must report to customer service if an unrelated person disturbs or harasses other customers.
21. The laundromat is under video surveillance. There is no right to request footage. The recordings are continuously deleted after 14 days. Any costs incurred by the laundromat operator for providing footage must be reimbursed.
22. The customer agrees to video recordings and their temporary storage.
23. Photographic, video, and audio recordings, events, and any other recordings or use of the laundromat premises require the written, personal permission of the laundromat operator.
24. The place of jurisdiction is Stuttgart.
25. The full and current version of the terms and conditions always apply and can be viewed at the operator's premises (posted or on www.washpoint-stuttgart.de).
26. Only the prices and information posted in the laundromat are valid. All information in other media is non-binding. Errors excepted.
27. Receipts will not be issued to private customers. There is no entitlement to a receipt.
28. If the customer does not remove their laundry immediately after the program ends, the next customer or the laundromat operator is entitled to remove the laundry and place it neatly in a laundry basket on the respective machine.
29. Vinegar cleaners must not be added to the washing machine due to the potential damage to the seals. Any damage resulting from misuse will be charged to the customer.
30. The door opener is time-controlled. The lock is automatically activated in the evening and deactivated in the morning. It is possible to exit the laundromat despite closure, as only opening from the outside is restricted.
31. At the central control, a product must be selected after inserting money (purchase requirement). The payment terminal cannot be used as a change machine.
